SERVICESTrace Engineers conduct on-site electrical safety and preventive maintenance inspections on patient care equipment including, but not limited to, medical lasers, monitors, and defibrillators. Service contracts are available for facilities that wish to lock-in preferred pricing for a full year.
Trace technicians work over a territory spanning Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Our client base often requires that engineers perform their repairs in the field, on location. Sometimes a repair becomes so involved, the equipment needs to be brought to the shop. However, this accounts for less then 10% of the repairs that Trace performs. Each technician carries a set of hand tools and basic test equipment in their vehicle.
The state of IL requires that facilities utilizing lasers implement a laser safety program along with annual review of laser safety. Twice a year, Trace offers a laser safety class reviewing biophysics, tissue effects, laser safety and regulatory concerns.
